Over 2 million veterans in the UK with between 12,000 – 15,000 service leavers entering the UK Job market annually. We are fully aware of the obstacles and struggles service leavers endure looking for suitable civilian employment and we act as signposts between excellent candidates, and forces friendly organisations looking to add more veterans to their workforce.

National Insurance relief is available to employers of service leavers within their first 12-months of civilian employment. This scheme has been introduced to great effect and allows companies to hire not only hard-working, disciplined, dedicated employees, but also save money in the process. The rate of National Insurance is currently set at 13.8% of the salary, which is a substantial saving, and can almost negate the agency fee when hiring veterans through the Military Desk at Hirecracker.
